Hello lovely future patrons!
My name is Tashi Rengei Alexander. I've been making music, writing songs, and making visual art my whole life since I was a little kid. At one point when I really started getting in gear, I was writing up to 3 songs per night for a few years, playing guitar, and dreaming up arrangements full time for as long as I've been able to read. Music and songwriting is my passion and my life and over the years it's only sharpened and become more pointed and distinct. Yet after all this time I have brought to full completion a total of 15 songs, 10 of which I hardly marketed for I was disappointed with the outcome due to financial setbacks and compromises.
My new album Above the Noise on the other hand I am extremely pleased with though is only 5 songs, not as a result of lack of content but of lack of funds. I am beyond ready to start ushering in the plethora of creations I have finished and waiting for the studio. Some songs are half done being recorded and waiting to be finished, as well as physical CDs of Above the Noise waiting to be printed. As a person living on the west coast and being born in a body, I am thoroughly proud of myself and my ability to pull off even what I have. I am certain with even the smallest amount of help it will make my ability to bring this music out into the world just that much easier so I can catch up with my self and the wellspring of creations urging me to be born
I have over 100 songs written just waiting to be recorded. I have 3 to 4 albums worth of pre-recordings ready to start in the studio and more every week with new songs coming every month. Your generous donations will allow me to bring all of my material out into the world before I die, which even if I live to 100 years old, without some support I still won't be done by then.
